Grounds Team Recognition
We are very proud that our brilliant Grounds Team have been recognised with an industry award. The Grounds Management Association holds a national industry awards ceremony every year covering categories in all types of grounds work e.g. football and rugby pitches, golf courses, cricket grounds, schools etc.
Leicester Grammar School Trust was nominated for Independent School Grounds Team of the year. Head Groundsman, Mike Hood, was then was asked to enter the application process to explain what we do here. The competition was fierce, and although we did not win the category, The Grounds Management Association awarded our team Highly Commended. They do an incredible job of keeping every part of our 75 acre site looking good throughout the year, and we are delighted that they have been recognised in this was by industry experts. Well done team!
